Manning Valley Cycle Club hosted the Central Division Age Championships on the challenging Wooton course. The Central Division encompasses clubs From Taree to the Central Coast & west to Muswellbrook. A good roll up of 80 riders raced in 11 age divisions. The number of riders present was a pleasant surprise for what was believed to be an unpopular event on a very tough course. Manning riders were prominant in the results with Graham "Chuck" Norris winning the 45 to 55 age division, Josh Blick winning the under 17 mens division & Kellie Nicholson winning the Womens under 17 division. Other riders on the podium were Tanya Cross in third place in the Womens, Phil Mitchell, second place in the over 65years division & Greg Walmsley third in the 55 to 65 years division. Other riders to do well were John Hawkins, fourth in the over 65 division & Mal Saad who was fourth in the 55 to 65 years division & Daniel Crossingham who was fifth in the 35 to 45 years division. Congratulations to all who competed  & represented Manning Valley Club with Pride & thanks to Gary Piper & Graham Norris for organising s very successful event.
