This weeks racing was held at the Club’s Kolodong circuit. The juniors started proceedings with their weekly handicap. The Sewell children picked up first and second. Emma Sewell was able to hold off her fast finishing brother Daniel, third across the line was Isaac Cross. It was an exciting race to watch as the faster and older juniors came close to reeling in the lead riders.

First seniors to get underway were last weeks rain effected grades. B-grade was won by Bruce Anderson in second was Matt Liebregts and third the returning Brett Provost.

D-grade was a big field which saw them start with 2 laps of neutral riding, which did not seem to do anything but make some eager to start racing before they crossed the start finish line of the second lap. Kelle Nicholson took out the race from Graeme Budden and Harold Greenhalgh.

A and C grade were last to hit the track with rain threatening. A-grade was mixed with some hard and easy paces which saw some riders getting dropped from the bunch. It ended in a bunch finish with Dan Aldridge claiming honors followed by Josh Blick and Beau Harper.

C-grade was a smallish bunch which still saw some fast riding. In First was Graeme McGechan who rode to victory on his newly acquired bike. Second was Geoff Maude followed by the ever young Mal Saad.
