Last Wednesday night's racing was at Brimbin road. Brimbin's short course continually proves challenging and painful to alot of the riders. The Handicaps at this even favoured the limit bunches as scratch bunches in both the A/B grade race and C/D grade race could only manage a sprint for fastest time.

The juniors started the racing off. There was a strong field as parents continued support toward their Children's enjoyment ensures great racing with plenty of smiles and red faces. The handicap was won by a strong finishing Bayden McIntosh-Clinch Followed another consistently strong ride by Zane Dawson and a Satisfying third by the smiling assassin Kobe Pattison. All Juniors are riding really well as riders show improvements in both bike handling skills and strength.

The A/B grade handicap saw block start with 3 riders including Noel Mathiske, Justin Shearer and John Corbett. Corbett broke away from his bunch early and looked as though he would not be caught. However toward the end of the race the bunch behind had picked up all members of the block bunch. At the sprint to the line it was Justin Shearer who picked up first in B-grade followed by Anthony Cross and John Corbett.

In the A/B mix the scratch riders were having a tough time of it. Jason Parker in a group further ahead on the road was able to break and made a solo effort for the line which paid dividends. Parker took out the race for the line overall second was a new rider in A-grade Jack Steedman with 3rd the consistent and strong Rhett Pattison.

The C/D grade race was a repeat of the A/B grade race as the Scratchies were not able to catch the block bunch. Wilf Alley took out the win in C grade followed by Russel Davis and Tanya Cross.

Jesse Alley took out the overall win for the C/D handicap, he was able to out sprint his Dad Wilf. In Second was Kurt Sadler followed by Zoe Dowsett in third.

D2 was taken out by Mary Frost followed in second by Sam Kerslake and third was Caroline Pattison.
